Assam Public Service Commission invites application against ADVT. NO. 05/2016 from Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for the under-mentioned posts under HEALTH (B) DEPTT, Assam Government in the scale of pay as indicated below and carrying usual allowances as admissible under Rules of the Govt. of Assam.

1. Asstt. Professor in Nyaya in K.K. Handique Govt. Sanskrit College, Guwahati
No of post: 1
Pay: Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6000 PM plus other allowances as prescribed by the UGC and the State Govt.
Age: Maximum 43 as on 03/03/2016.

2. Research Assistant
No of post: 2 [UR]
Pay: Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 35000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4300 PM plus other allowances.
Age: Maximum 43 as on 03/03/2016.

3. Special Officer [Ahom Studies] in the Directorate of Historical & Antiquarian Studies, Guwahati
No of post: 1
Pay: Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 35000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5100 PM plus other allowances.
Age: Maximum 43 as on 03/03/2016.

4. Chief Language Officer under Legislative Deptt.
No of post: 2
Pay: Rs. 12000/- to Rs. 40000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6100 PM plus other allowances.
Age: Maximum 43 as on 03/03/2016.

5. Language Officer
No of post: 4
Pay: Rs. 8000/- to Rs. 35000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 5100 PM plus other allowances.
