Online applications are hereby invited from the UP TET and DElEd/B Ed qualified candidates, who are Citizens of India as defined in Article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India for filling up of 5144 Nos. of regular vacant posts of teachers in Upper Primary Schools under the Directorate of Elementary Education, Assam.

1. Assistant Teacher
No of posts: 2945

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Pay: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay

2. Science Teacher
No of posts: 413

Educational Qualification: B. Sc. degree from the UGC recognized University andUP TET qualified in Science and Mathematics stream. and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)

Pay: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay

3. Hindi Teacher
No of posts: 1590

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University having Hindi as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)
Pay: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay

4. Arabic Teacher
No of posts: 196

Educational Qualification: Graduate degree from the UGC recognized University having Arabic as one of the subjects and UP TET and 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or B. Ed. or D. Ed. (Special Education) or B. Ed. (Special Education)
Pay: Pay Band II @ Rs. 5,200 – 20,200/- + Grade Pay.

Age: A candidate must be not less than 18 years of age and not more than 43 years of age as on 1 st January, 2016, provided the candidates have attained the necessary educational or other qualifications prior to crossing of their existing upper age limit of 38 years. Relaxation of upper age limit will be considered for SC, ST (P), ST (H) and PH candidates for another 5 years, as per the Govt. of Assam OM No. ABP.06/2016/04 dated 03/03/2016.

Application Fee: The candidates have to deposit an amount of Rs. 200/- [Rs. 150/- for SC, ST(P), ST(H) candidates and free for BPL candidates] in the form of Indian Postal Order in the name of Director of Elementary Education, Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati– 19.

The candidates must have to submit the IPO in original at the time of document verification only , before the District Level Selection Committee of the district applied for.

How to apply: The eligible candidates shall apply online in the website www.lpupteachers.com from 10:00 AM of 01/09/2016 to midnight of 30/09/2016.

No offline application will be received in the office of the Director of Elementary Education, Assam.

Documents required to be uploaded:

1. Passport Size Colour Photograph (from 10 to 40 KB)

2. Caste Certificate (in case of SC/ ST(P)/ST(H)/OBC/MOBC)

3. Certificate of Co-curricular activities, NCC, Sports & Cultural etc. if any. (Not above 50 KB in JPG format)

4. Scanned Signature (from 10 to 40 KB).

5. BPL Certificate by BPL Candidates from concerned authority. (from 10 to 40 KB)

The Online Applications and documents submitted by the candidates will be verified along with their original testimonials, in the respective districts by the District Level Selection Committee. The District-wise detailed schedule of verification of documents will be notified in the Notice Board of the office of the District Elementary Education Officer concerned. No TA/DA is admissible for appearing in the verification process.

Note:

1. The regular teachers working in LP School are not allowed to apply in any posts in LP Schools and regular teachers working in UP Schools are not allowed to apply in any posts in UP Schools. However, regular LP teachers if otherwise eligible may apply in UP Schools through proper channel only.

2. All eligible contractual teachers may apply to any one of the posts.
3. A candidate can apply only once in any of the districts mentioned in the advertisement.
