Vacancy Details

Name of the post: Stenographer Grade-III

Scale of pay: PB-2 + Grade pay Rs. 5200-20200+ 2400

Qualification: Graduation with diploma in English Stenography with a speed of 80 words per minute. Candidate must be capable of English Typewriting with a speed of 40 words per minute and computer knowledge is desirable

Age limit: Candidate must not be less than 18 years and upper age limit for General & reserved category will be governed as per the Govt, latest guidelines/ circular.

Terms & conditions:

1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen under article 5-8 of the Indian Consti-tution.

2. The candidate must have registered their name In the Employment Exchange and Registration No. and dale must be mentioned in their application.

3. Candidate already In Govt, service should apply through proper channel.

4. For SC, ST, OBC/MOBC category candidates including reservation for person with disabilities will be covered by the existing norms under the statutory provisions made by Govt, of Assam. Woman reservation as per Govt, norms will also be applicable

5. Candidates will have to appear In a written test of 100 marks.

6. Successful candidate in written Examination will have to appear for a speed test of English Stenography and typewriting.

7. The application must be accompanied with self attested copies of all testimoni¬als regarding educational qualification, age, Employment Exchange Registration Card, Caste certificate, two copies of recent pass post size photograph, self address Envelope (22 cmx 10 cm). At the time of oral/viva voce candidate will have to produce all original documents before the Selection Committee.
