Age : Candidates age must be up to 38 years for Dependents, 40 years for Widow for Post 1, 10 40 years for other posts as on 05-02-2017. Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess
a) 10th class for Post 1, 11 to 16,
b) Intermediate or Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) exam for Post 2, 3,
c) 10th class pass with Science, Maths & English for Post 4, 10,
d) 10th class, Diploma in relevant discipline for Post 5
e) 10th class for Post 6
f) 10th class with ITI for Post 7, 8, 9.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of Physical standard test, Trade test, written test, Physical Efficiency Test, Medical examination.
How to Apply: Eligible candidates may send the applications in the prescribed format along with self attested copies of qualification, domicile certificate, caste certificate, to the Directorate General Assam Rifles (Recruitment Branch), Laitkor, Shillong, Meghalaya- 793010 in an envelope super scripted as “Application for Compassionate Ground Appointment” on or before 04-02-2017 & 20-02-2017 for remote areas.
